Your Roadmap to Discover, Learn, and Improve

Last Updated 8 April 2023

This roadmap describes our vision over the next year to allow your organization to identify and address the health and risk of your data platforms more quickly.  The three key themes include:

  • Productivity: empower individuals and teams with easy-to-use tools, insights, and AI-driven learning.
  • Revolutionary Development: provide knowledge and solutions to reduce time, cost, and risk for building database solutions.
  • Resiliency: enhance the analysis engine to identify additional considerations that are likely to negatively affect your database platforms.
  • Constant Innovation: continually invest in improved collaboration, actionable findings, and coding assistance.

General

We will be constantly asking for user feedback to improve the usability and effectiveness of DataOpus and all of its capabilities and features.  We will also be asking our customers to serve as teaming partners so we can understand their data-related risks and issues so they can be addressed in future releases.

Findings

Our data geeks will continually research anti-patterns with an attempt to auto-identify when analyzing a database.  Additionally, the team will continue to document these anti-patterns for formalized training sessions.

Data Grid Usefulness

Our developers and UX team will collaborate to enhance the usability and effectiveness of data grids in any attempt to provide maximum customization and empowerment.

Address Needs of the Critical Infrastructure

The 16 industries that comprise the United States Critical Infrastructure require resiliency within their systems and DataOpus will be part of the solution.  Our cybersecurity team and partners will continually identify opportunities for DataOpus to auto-identify risk to resiliency within data platforms.

Personalization

DataOpus will continually seek opportunities for users to customize the depth and breadth of analysis.

Artificial Intelligence

Our developers will start to employ AI for self-learning of findings so individuals and team can continually mature their skills.

Extensibility

The data geeks will continue to add additional data platforms for analysis.  Minimally, we envision Oracle and MongoDB being incorporated.

Interoperability

Seamlessly integrating our analysis engine and/or findings into productivity and engineering tools is a strategic goal of DataOpus.  Our entire team will continually evaluate opportunities to help our customers work more effectively.

Get Well & Lean

Our Chief Methodologist and data geeks will continually collaborate to identify the activities required to resolve or mitigate findings, so users have a more robust plan of action.  Additionally, this team will utilize the Lean method to streamline activities to further reduce time, cost, and risk.

Below is a summary for previous versions of DataOpus.  If you have suggestions for future versions, please tell us on the Feature Request page.
